The Accelerated Master of Science in Business Analytics and Project Management (MSBAPM), previously known as the 4+1 Analytics track, is an advanced program offered in both Hartford and Stamford for UConn undergraduate students from any campus. This program is designed for students pursuing various majors, including Business Data Analytics, Management and Engineering for Manufacturing, Analytics and Information Management, and minors in Analytics—though all UConn undergraduates are encouraged to apply.
UConn undergraduate students can save time and money by starting graduate-level business analytics courses while completing their degree, ultimately applying to advance into the nationally top-ranked MS in Business Analytics and Project Management. This unique accelerated path offers an efficient route to earning a graduate degree, enhancing your expertise in analytics, project management, and data-driven decision-making.

Curriculum Overview
The Accelerated MS in Business Analytics allows students to complete up to four undergraduate courses before transitioning into the remaining 21 credits of the graduate degree. This program combines rigorous business analytics courses with cutting-edge electives that explore the latest data applications. The result is an innovative and advanced business analytics curriculum that prepares graduates for success in a data-driven world, making them highly attractive to employers seeking top talent in the field.
Eligible Classes
Eligible classes include: OPIM 5603: Statistics in Business Analytics, OPIM 5604: Predictive Modeling, OPIM 5270: Introduction to Project Management, OPIM 5272: Data Management and Business Process Modeling. Courses completed with a grade of 'B' or better are eligible to transfer into the MSBAPM program. During the student’s last semester as an undergraduate, they will need to submit a graduate application to the MSBAPM program for Graduate School Admission to start in any fall, spring or summer semester. Once in the MSBAPM program, continuing accelerated students will complete a reduced credit-plan of study.

Eligibility Requirements
Required prerequisites:
- 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
- 54 completed credits
- Demonstrated quantitative rigor in undergraduate coursework
We encourage applicants from all majors, with particular emphasis on affiliated undergraduate majors and minors, including: Management Information Systems, Business Data Analytics, MEM, Analytics, and others subject to approval through the admissions process.
Courses in which students have earned a grade of 'B' or higher are eligible for transfer into the MSBAPM program. During their final undergraduate semester, students must submit a graduate application to the MSBAPM program to begin in any fall, spring, or summer semester. Once admitted, accelerated students will follow a streamlined, reduced credit-plan of study.
